How Privacy & Posting Works

ASF StaffASF StaffOct 2, 2025 · 1 min read · 1 views

AppStateFans gives you extreme flexibility: you choose both who sees your posts and where they live. Here’s how it all works:

Privacy Settings

  • Public 🌍 – Anyone, even non-members, can see it.
  • All Members 🏔 – Only logged-in members of AppStateFans.
  • Friends 🤝 – Only people you’ve friended here.
  • Only Me 🔒 – Your personal notepad (yes, people use it to stash hot takes they don’t want to regret later).

Post In Options

By default, your post goes to My Profile. That means:

  • It appears on your profile’s activity feed.
  • It also shows up in the main fan feed (Mountaineer Nation), following your privacy setting.

Want to post directly into a group? Easy:

  • From the home feed or your profile, switch Post In to any group you’ve joined.
  • If you’re inside a group and hit “Post,” it automatically defaults to that group.

Extreme Flexibility

Bottom line: you’re in control.

  • Share with everyone or just your friends.
  • Keep it private or make it public.
  • Post to your profile or post to your groups.

Your voice, your audience, your rules. But keep the public out of your toxicity!

Think of it like running the ball against Georgia Southern: you pick the lane, you pick the speed, and you score when it hits the feed.
